We are delighted to share that we are now opening applications to all AXIS members to take part in our 2022 Mentoring Cohort.
Every year, our mentoring scheme receives excellent feedback from both our graduating mentees and mentors, with one of the key messages being the extent to which D&I is evident in the programme. The AXIS mentoring programme offers an opportunity to develop strong partnerships across the industry, across disciplines, and across ‘seniority’ levels (age and organisational) as well as welcoming all genders as mentees and mentors. We ask that all participants are subscribed members of AXIS (register here); the scheme is otherwise free and available to all.
Previous participants valued the surprising partnerships which occurred when diverse matchings expanded their views of what a mentor or mentee ‘should look like’. The AXIS Mentoring scheme has facilitated the coming together of AXIS members in a supportive way, encouraging mutual growth and progression – neatly outlined in this testimonial.

We are currently looking for mentors and mentees to take part in this year’s cohort. We will do our best to accommodate all those who are interested in becoming involved. If you would like to take part, please email mentoring@axisnetwork.co.uk with the subject line “Mentoring Scheme - Cohort 2022” providing your name, contact details and whether you would like to take part as a mentor or a mentee. We will then ask you to complete a short application form to understand what you are looking for from the partnership, so that we can match mentors and mentees. These applications must be returned by Monday 25 April 2022, and we will inform applicants of the matching outcomes towards the end of the month.
There will be an informal launch event for Cohort 2022 participants at the start of the programme to outline some of the key points and allow participants to meet each other. You are encouraged to attend this session so that everyone has a common understanding of the AXIS Mentoring programme and so you can meet other participants. The programme itself will run from end May/beginning of June until approximately end of November 2022.
